These past two days have been kinda rough. I've been in a daze, and I still feel that way as I type this rare blog post about my personal life. Today is my mother's birthday. It was one year and 2 days ago that she died. Should I tell you what I did on the one year anniversary of her passing? I worked. But before I worked, I did something really stoopit...I fell victim to a lame fishing scheme that put my bank account in the hands of thieves for a day. Yeah...Me...the guy who is always telling other people not to fall for those emails that promise the world if you will just give them your bank account number so they can deposit it in there for you.
I won't get into great detail about that suffice it to say I had to spend a couple of hours at the bank filling out all the paperwork to fix the problem. So, I didn't have much time to think about anything else...and the day passed without my remembering Mom.
It wasn't until much later in the day that I realized what significance of the day was...And now, today, her birthday...what did I do? Worked. Walked the dogs. Felt depressed. Blogged.
